Brazil’s bootylicious Miss BumBum beauty pageant get into the World Cup spirit by opening its doors, welcoming ample-bottomed contestants from around the world to enter a new global contest.
The toughest competitors are showing just how seriously they take the beautiful game -- and we're not referring to Pelé or Ronaldinho.
After receiving requests from women with "best booty on the planet" the organisers will elect the best derrière on the planet at a star-studded event in Miami in March next year.
The would-be Bumbum participants have until December 1 to submit their entries - when registrations for contestants open - to get their backsides into spanking good shape.
Miss Bumbum World will carry the same rules as the Brazilian competition, which prohibits participants who have undergone surgery to enlarge or enhance their backsides.
But unlike the Brazil contest, which bans bottoms bigger than 107cm (42in) in diameter, there will be no limit on the size of contestants' bottoms, meaning Kim Kardashian's 109cm (43in) wide bottom could take part.
Miss BumBum's 27 contestants for 2018 will do what Brazilians do -- pose with soccer balls -- for a photo shoot to promote the annual pageant ... as well as the upcoming World Cup. Brazil's a 2-seed, if you're as interested as these ladies clearly are.
This year's competition -- BumBum, not the World Cup -- includes 2 transgender entrants for the first time in the legendary pageant's long and storied 8-year history.
The ladies of Miss BumBum ... always making their country proud. Rope burn be damned!
