Hello, My name is Laury, I’m a 20 years old student from Belgium 🙂

I’ve had a very happy childhood eventhough my parents divorced when I was 3 years old. This led me to be a spoiled brat I imagine :p

I love animals, my grandfather owned horses and my uncle was a jockey. My mom’s dream was to save all the animals she saw so this had a big influence on me. I’ve always lived with pets at home. At the moment I have 2 dogs and a cat.

I’ve studied laws and economics before changing to marketing. I’d love to have a master degree in digital marketing and communication and study the impact of social media on the consumer’s lives .

” I started modeling because girls around me all did photoshoots and dreamed of becoming models. In 2015 I participated in a beauty pageant that I ended up winning. This gave me contacts and a bit of fame that I used to start up modeling with more experienced photographers. I have not always dreamed of becoming a model. I wanted to become a veterinarian and save animals. I started considering modeling at around 15. It helped me deal with some insecurities.”

What has been your biggest struggle as a model?

” My biggest challenge was accepting myself and having self-confidence! My second challenge was accepting the critics and comments from the when I really started focusing on lingerie. Thanks for my boyfriend and my managers, I got over it, I stayed strong and I don’t regret anything.“

Are you excited to be featured as a GlamGirl?

” YES VERY!! This is a good opportunity to show my work to other people and hopefully, they will like it !!!”

How long have you been modeling and what would you count as your biggest accomplishments?

“So I have really been modeling for 3 years now and feel a lot more confident. Even though I might look like an ice queen, it is more due to my lake of self-confidence than anything else. Thanks to my fan and the community support I have the opportunity to have new experiences, travel, get partnerships with photographers and brands.”

What are your plans for 2018 – Modelling wise?

“Continuing as I started I guess 🙂 Bring even more quality content on my social media profiles. I would also love to travel even more and bring my followers with me on my adventures.“

Do you ever deal with haters? If yes, how do you handle them?

“Yes, I have a lot of people that don’t understand that lingerie isn’t porn. Lots of critics and jealousy. Even photographers that get butthurt sometimes but it’s life… i used to try to argue and defend myself but I quickly understand the pointlessness of arguing with stupids  😉“

Single or ready to get out n’ mingle?

” Hahaha, I’m in a relationship with an amazing boyfriend that I love J Sorry boys 😉“

Any advice for other models who are just starting out?

“Just dare to start and don’t let the others put you down. Have a strong personality and do what you want and not what people tell you! Be active on social media, be thankful for the opportunities but don’t let people take advantage of you !“
