My Name is Desiree I like to go by Desi. I was born in Missouri, raised in Minnesota. I am a midwestern girl at heart. I am a goofy girl trying to make it out here in LA, just doing what l love and trying to figure out who I am. How would you describe yourself in three words?
I would describe myself as ambitious, sympathetic, and a very hard lover.
What is the best piece of advice you’ve received?
To never settle for less than what you deserve and to learn to love yourself unconditionally.
What quote do you live by?
“What goes around, comes around.” I am a firm believer in karma, and I truly believe that what you put into the universe will always come back to you, good or bad.
What is one thing people would be surprised to know about you?
I come from a very huge family on my mother’s side. All of her family is from the Philippines. She was born and raised there until she moved to the US at age 20. My mother is the 13th child out of 18.
What brings you the greatest joy?
Making people feel beautiful brings the greatest joy to me. Influencing people to be confident and to embrace being sexy in a tasteful way. Beauty is celebrated in so many different shapes, sizes, and colors and I love implementing that in my social media and in my work outside of modeling.
What will you do if you have a time machine?
I would go back to the 1920s or 1930s and study the fashion industry during that time. I am in love with that era.
If you could only choose one song to play every time you walked into a room for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Thank you, Next by Ariana Grande. Obviously.
Tell us your all-time favorite movie and why?
My favorite movie is “To all the boys I loved before”. It’s my favorite movie because it brings me back to that feeling of being in high school, falling in love and feeling so free-spirited.
Which supermodels did you look up to when you first started your modeling career?
Adriana Lima, Kendall Jenner, and Sofia Jamaora.

Who’s your favorite photographer you’ve done a shoot with and why?
Wow, that is so difficult to say. I have worked with so many amazing and creative artists, some of whom got me where I am today. I cannot choose a favorite. I love everyone’s artistry in different ways.
Describe your perfect day off when you are not modelling?
Relaxing, spending time with my boyfriend or family and friends. Drinking lots of wine and eatings lots of amazing foods.
How do you stay in shape?
I try to maintain a healthy diet. Someone once told me “eat in moderation”. I work out when I can but I really do have a soft spot in my heart for red velvet cake.
What has been the most memorable moment of your career, so far?
The most memorable moment of my career has been getting my first publication in a magazine, and well now second!!
Take us through a typical day in the life of Desiree.
A typical day in the life of Desi is either cleaning my house, working, or binging on Netflix. I am either at Sephora working as a makeup artist or I am at home cleaning and being creative. I love reading, watching videos, and informative documentaries or conspires on Netflix.
What goals do you wish to achieve in the future?
I wish to achieve pure happiness while pursing my dreams. I hope to be very successful and to provide for my family and to be able to repay my parents for everything they have done for me.
What item in your closet do you wear the most?
The item I wear the most in my closet is my high school cotton tees. Those are the most comfortable shirts to be in.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would it be?
If I could live anywhere in the world I would love to live in London. Although the weather isn’t the best it is so rich in history and the culture there is so captivating to me.
