GOT Finished Filming Possibly The Longest Battle Scene In TV History

Game of Thrones: Come for the massive battle scenes, stay for the sex scenes. or the other way around. Or both. It’s totally your choice!

Game Of Thrones

If you like battles, though, it sounds like Season 8 has a corker in store!!!

According to Watchers On The Wall, the crew at Game Of Thrones just wrapped up a battle scene that took 55 consecutive days to shoot, quite possibly a TV record.

Assistant director for 20 episodes, Johnathan Quinlan, took to Instagram to share this.

The card was probably way too revealing, and Quinlan had to delete his Instagram post. But thanks to the geniuses of Watchers On The Wall, they took a screen shot of it so people like us don’t miss it!

In the since deleted post, his caption read, "Says it all. 55 consecutive nights. 11 weeks. 3 locations. You’ll never again see anything like it."

It reads:

This is for the Night Dragons. For enduring 55 straight nights. For enduring the cold, the snow, the rain, the mud, the sheep s**t of Toome and the winds of Magheramorne. When tens of millions of people around the world watch this episode a year from now, they won’t know how hard you worked."

They won’t care how tired you were or how tough it was to do your job in sub-freezing temperatures. They’ll just understand that they’re watching something that’s never been done before. And that’s because of you."

"WHAT THE HELL!", it does really matters to all the GOT fans Johnathan. (Don't know about you guys but yes, I care for them…….in full honesty I mean it 😊)

But aren’t you guys curious about the location?

The scenes were shot at the Moneyglass set in Toome and the Magheramorne green screen set according to Watchers on The Wall.

That means the battle is most likely in Winterfell, and the 'Night Dragons' nickname suggests we could be finally set for the biggest war yet in the North.

This is called as sharing Knowledge😛😜

To put this in perspective, it took less than half the time to shoot the Battle of the Bastards (It took 600 crew members, 500 extras, 25 days, and millions of dollars to make the Battle of the Bastards on Game of Thrones. Just letting you guys know😉) and the Loot Train battle.

So that’s it! No more furtive photos in the dark for us to obsess over. Coming up next: the Dragonpit, the King’s Landing battle, and who knows what else! Stay tuned.

It’s Showtime!!!!

I just can’t stop thinking of GOT Season 8 premiere which is scheduled in 2019.

Roll on 2019!
