Let’s Talk about the ultimate date night!
Think of awards season as a series of lavish, high-stakes proms.
And celebrities walk the promenade with their plus-ones.
For a celebrity couple, a red carpet debut is high school equivalent of taking someone to the dance: It’s an official declaration to the world of couple-dom.
And this year’ SAG Awards was no different.
Not only did the stars serve up some serious red carpet style, but they also shared some cute snaps from behind the scenes and inside the venue. Below are a few of the cutest on-screen and IRL couples we spotted throughout the evening.
Chrishell and Justin Hartley
First up are This Is Us actor Justin Hartley and his wife Chrishell at the red carpet. They played with the swing at the SAG Awards’ video booth before the show. Watch ’til the end to see how they lovingly looked at each other.
Sterling K Brown And Ryan Michelle Bathe
Sterling K Brown and his wife were looking all kinds of fierce during their arrival — they even got a little handsy too!
Lady Gaga and Christian Carino
Harry Shum Jr. And Shelby Rabara
This couple was smiling ear to ear when showing off Shelby's growing baby bump.
Tracy Morgan And Megan Wollover
You can count on Tracy Morgan to bring some laughs to where ever he goes — red carpet included.
Mike Myers and Kelly Tisdale
Holding hands on the carpet were Mike Myers and his wife, Kelly, whom he wed in 2010.
Rami Malek and Lucy Boynton
Not only did Rami Malek get an Oscar nod for his work on Bohemian Rhapsody, but he also walked away with a budding romance. He and girlfriend Lucy Boynton, who co-starred in the hit biopic, are treating award season like their own couples' vacay. The latest stop? Sunday night's SAG Awards.
Here they are sharing a hug before Malek gave his acceptance speech:
And here they are schmoozing while Boynton eagerly awaits her BF's win.
Next date? The Oscars.
Maria Dolores Dieguez & Joseph Fiennes
The spouses only had eyes for each other in front of the cameras.
Amy Adams & Darren Le Gallo
Amy Adams has been with her husband, Darren Le Gallo, since 2002, when they met at an acting class.
Michael Douglas & Catherine Zeta-Jones
The spouses of almost 19 years shared a secret to their long-lasting marriage: tap dancing!
Ken & Tran Jeong
The actor and his wife are still Crazy for each other nearly 15 years after walking down the aisle.
Carlos Ponce & Luenell
Carlos Ponce and Luenell of A Star Is Born may not be dating — but they definitely have chemistry.
Anthony Ramos & Jasmine Cephas Jones
From the original cast of Hamilton to engagement — a charming journey.
Alison Brie & Dave Franco
An intense moment.
Emily Blunt and John Krasinski
My personal favorite is Emily Blunt thanking her husband John Krasinski during her Outstanding Female Actor in a Supporting Role speech. “I am going to share this completely with my husband John Krasinski because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly, you are a stunning filmmaker,” she said of her award-winning role in A Quiet Place. You could see John tearing up a bit and gleaming with pride. Awww.
Gloria Campano and Bradley Cooper
What do you do when your supermodel wife can't make it to the SAG Awards? You dress in Gucci and bring your mama, as the A Star Is Born actor/director did.
Bradley Cooper and Lady Gaga
We’ve got honorable mentions, too! The SAG Awards Instagram account also caught BFF moments at the show. Because if you don’t have a date to awards shows, you can always hang out with your good friends. Yes? Yes.
